Great Job today swimmers! Many thanks to those who made it out... Bekah, Sharon, Julia, Jen and Dave. Probably the nicest weather we have had all summer.
We spent some time working on drills; used pull buoys and kick boards, which was a big hit; and did a short sprint set that mimicked last week's WOD.
As for today's WOD, I decided we would go back and repeat the WOD we did in the first week to see what kind of improvement our swimmers had made.

I've really enjoyed running these swimming WODs this Summer. Thanks to everyone who gave it a try. Hopefully we can figure a way to do similar activities in the future as I think it's a great addition to everyone's training regimen.

Thanks, Lou! Though I am not doing a tri anytime soon, I got out of the swim wods exactly what my goal was - to get more comfortable in the water. I feel 100% more comfortable! My breathing and balance feels natural now. My stamina has improved and I loved just being able to switch things up my with training. If we can ever get some random swim wods indoors sometime, I am in! Thanks again for sacrificing part of every Sunday for us this summer. It was a blast!
