Rise Above the Bar Challenge


Apex will be hosting a weekly challenge for all clients. A challenge will be posted on Sunday nights along with a set amount of reps/.weight etc.(THE BAR). The object is to try and RISE ABOVE THE BAR each week.
Rules:
1. Each Athlete must have a validator or judge to verify their attempt.
2. Athletes are only allowed  1 validated attempt within 24 hours(you can practice, but practice attempts will not count!)
3. If you RISE ABOVE THE BAR, you MUST blog your effort and write your full name on the Games Board(located in the warmup area) and the result of your attempt. If you do not,  your results will not count.
4. All validated attempts MUST be performed at Apex.
5. Attempts and practice may only take place during warm-up or cool down.....no taking time away from class.

A prize will be awarded to the winner of each week!

Questions:
Is there 1 bar that is set for both men and women?
How long do athletes have to complete the challenge: Sunday to Sunday?
What if multiple people rise above the bar?

All good questions......
- Male/Female- the bar will depend on task.(this week it's the same)
- Athletes will have from Monday-Sunday to complete task....be sure to post your score in the comments and record it on the task sheet, located on the whiteboard.
-I would love for everyone in the gym to Rise Above the Bar!
However, only one winner will be awarded a prize.

I love this!! I think it's a great idea and a great way to kick start our training.
