Squat Clean & Jerk Warm Up:
3x1 @ 215# & 2x1 @ 225# - I hit a PR on my squat clean at 245# but missed the jerk.

Hey all!
I just wanted to tell everyone thank you so much for the support and encouragement for the Regionals, but I have made the decision NOT to participate this coming weekend. As some of you already know Josh and I got a wonderful unexpected surprise a few weeks ago and found out we will be having a little one join our family this December :)

I had still planned on participating in Regionals when we found out because I felt great and had already practiced most of the workouts and felt good about them. However, the past 2 weeks have been a different story and I'm not working out and not feeling good at all. I know this decision is what is best for Junior Wagner and me too :)

HQ will be releasing an official statement from me sometime this week for the Games page but I wanted all of you to find out from us rather than the Games site.

I am sad that I won't get to represent Apex, I was really looking forward to it and I'm sorry for those of you who were planning to come cheer. I hope you still go if were planning to, because the atmosphere is wild and I know you will have a great time!

Thanks again for all of the support. We are so lucky to have the best group of people in the area make up the Apex family!

Tanya, I'm sure I speak for all Apexers when I say we support your decision 100%!!!!!!! The health and well being of you and your family is the top priority...period. We love ya!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had 1 burpee left at the time cap. Used 115 for front squats and dropped once.

I overslept this morning, so I missed the 6:00 AMers. But I still managed to get a workout in. 50 push-ups, 2 mile run, 50 push-ups. Sorry I missed this WOD.

155lb clean and jerk, got the clean at 165, not so much the jerk....wrist straps would have been better.

Congratulations to Tanya and Josh!! What fantastic news!!

I loved this WOD this morning!! First in the warm up for the first time I actually felt the bar "float" when doing the Clean and Jerk!! Starting to get the timing of the hips, arms, and shoulders on these. Got to 105# max.

Then in the WOD I completed this one on time with slight modifications. 11:33 - 500m row, 50 singles (since I don't have DUs yet), 10# WB, 15 KTE (range of motion), 75# front squats, burpees. I was completely worn out at the end but felt really good accomplishing this one.

Thank you Jane for all of your help with form in the mornings!

Sorry, forgot to post...becasue I was too tired. By the time I got home, I had forgotten everything I did. Great workout though!!!
