  1. Warmup 1RM 165#. Failed at 185#. Just didn't fight hard enough. WOD: DNF time expired with 9 thrusters and 1 rope climb left. Regular rope climbs 65# thrusters. Today's WOD was one of the toughest by far. As much as I wanted to get up and down that rope, I just had nothing left in my arms. Absolutely brutal today!

    I agree with Jon - one of the toughest. I liked the ropes though, even if my arms were limp noodles afterwards.

    2-2-1-1 Legless rope climbs

    Got to my last rope climb around the 10 minute mark and could only get about 3/4 of the way up. Made a 2nd attempt only to get a few inches away from the top where I lost grip and fell like a sack of potatoes (a'la Froning in 2010). I had nothing left for a 3rd attempt...

    this morning at the beach I did:

    15 Thrusters 65#
    25 Burpees
    15 Floor Press 75#
    25 K2E
    15 Power Cleans 65#
    25 Woodchops
    8:37 (I think)

    Then Legless I was 11:15
    35# and regular rope climbs

    80# Thrusters
    Finished the first 6 rope climbs legless before switching over to regular rope climbs for the last four.

    should have used 65# on thrusters.

    205# on the back squat, although i think didn't hit full depth. 195# was for sure.

    prior pr was 185#
