Awesome morning at the pool for Workout #6 of the 2015 Summer Swim WOD Season. I decided to give today's swimmers a truer understanding of what an actual swimming workout might feel like with today's WOD "Short Fuse." But before that, we did some kicking of all three strokes, worked on our underwater dolphin kicking, and moved through freestyle technique work with the intention of lengthening each person's stroke. Good to see Nicole O'Neil make her first appearance in the pool and it was cool to see Souderton Lifeguard "Tall Paul," take on today's workout. Here it is... WOD “Short Fuse” Swimmers will complete AMRAP of 25 yard freestyle laps on a gradually decreasing interval. Swimmers will start on a 1:00 interval that will decrease by 2 seconds each round. Once a swimmer is unable to finish an interval they complete AMLAP in remaining time until the 15 minute mark. Score = last successfully completed interval + number of laps completed in the time remaining before the cap.
