"Albany Hopper"

Here's the hopper from the East Coast Challenge...give it a try!

5 rounds of:

21 sumo deadlift highpull 65/95
15 burpees
9 thrusters 65/95

THis workout destroyed me. I did the 5:30 am and here at almost 1 pm I still dont feel right. Great job to the ladies of the am that really kicked some butt, and thanks for waiting and cheering my slow @ss along!

cant wait to see whats in store for tomm!

Good for you Mike, heard you did today's with 95lbs! Awesome accomplishment!!!

As for me, not ready for this one again quite yet...instead I punished myself with and little lady named FRAN. All I have to say is holy crap I thought my right lung was going to rupture when I was I done. Very exciting though...I PR'd by 13 seconds.

Kinda lost it mentally after the first round and couldn't keep track of my counting. After watching the video, I did an extra thruster in both the round of 15's and 9's. Next time I'll have someone else count for me.
(I also noticed it looked like I was gonna pull a neck muscle trying to get my chin over the bar! My pull ups need some help.)

Mike all I got to say is good luck tomorrow. Stretch, stretch and stretch some more. Training still in process. Did a 3.5 mile run incorporating lots and lots of hills. Trust me it wasn't fun. Although I felt pretty good.

Josh, if your trying to scare me by saying Stretch 3 times like that. It Worked! Atleast it sounds like Mike will be killing himself tomm as well.

Tanya, your Fran was veryinspirational. There I was crying in my head with the 95 pound thrusters, but after watching you throw the 65 around like it was nothing really put things into perspective. . . .Im a wuss and need to buckle down! LOL. Way to set the bar

as far as pullups go, id give the frog kip a try, its soooo much quicker for time.

Albany Hopper kick your ass.
I was soak, not a dry piece of clothing. Right Knee is bother me in the back, bang it hard @ work.
used 100 SDLHP for row, 95 LBS for both SDLHP & THRUSTERS.
In 20 min mark had 3 RD'S 21 SDLHP done.
Finish 5 Rd's. in 27:46.74
Crossfit Apex @ ECCC did a great job w/ this hopper up there.
