Enjoy your day of rest. Take time today to look back at your CF Apex journey and to where is has brought you today. Whether you've been crossfitting for weeks or months, look back in the archives to pictures, personal times, and weights used for various wods. Reflect on your personal progress as well as those areas you would like to see more gains.

Time to get creative at the shore. By the way Minnucci, my freaking abs still feel like they are going to tear when I lean backwards.
Today I think it calls for 400m runs and 50 AS. I am going to look for a secluded place to do my air squats that way no body is thinking "What the Hell is that Idiot doing" Check back later. Love you Tan Can't wait to see you Wed.
Instead of resting today I decided to make up a wod I've been wanting to do...rower fran. All I have to say is holy freakin crap! I'm home by myself so this comment is going to be lengthy, I just need to share!
I thought I met pukie months ago after completing my first 2000m row, but after the wod today I realized I just now truly met the real clown (the projectile pukie...haven't vomited like that since my early college days)
The wod was 3 rounds...
Rd 1- 1000m row, 21 thrusters (55#), 15 pull ups
Rd 2- 750m row, 18 thrusters, 12 pull ups
Rd 3- 500m row, 15 thrusters, 9 pull ups (got in such a groove with the row that I actually did 550m...uhhh what a waste of time!)
You know it's a killer workout when I say pull ups were the EASIEST part! Seriously I looked forward to them...me! In between rounds you have a 2 minute break, basically it's 2 minutes of holding back the vomit...what a feeling.
I was happy with my times of 5:53, 4:53, 3:37 and the clown was there to celebrate in my joy as I completed my final pull-up, couldn't have timed it more perfect. Wish I had it on camera...final pull up, off the bar, land, check the clock, hunch over and hurl. Beautiful. I gave a little air fist pump as I stood up and thought man I love this sport!
The best part is those of you reading this know exactly how I feel...yes, we're all a little sick in the head and that's ok :)
Josh, wish you could have been here...didn't make it down to the woods like you did...but you would have been proud! Don't forget your sunscreen, love ya!
get a room!
on a serious note though, sounds like we need to get more rowers so we can all start puking! If that wod made the Wagner tag team puke, then I hope we never have to do it...or it could be real messy!
im bored and need to wod after that aweful eating non working out vaca last week. I hope something nasty is in store for tomm to punish me and shed the 13 pounds i gained! LOL
Scrappy I am dying to get rowers for you guys. It looks like we will need APEX barf bags made for that particular WOD.
First day on vacation and I attempted my first WOD. I did 4rds of: 400m runs and 50 AS.(12:41) I am gonna need to keep this up with the number of milkshakes, beers, pizza and fries I have already eaten. Did I mention I just sat on the beach for 2.5hrs as well. Scrappy glad to have you back see you after my relaxing vaca of throwing on a few pounds.
Tanya hope you are feeling better!
I was feeling good this afternoon, so I ran a 5k. No alien abduction, no dogs attacking, no birds dive bombing, no bats flying into me (it’s happened 3-4 times). Time was 32:53. June 8 time was 37:08, April (pre Apex) time was 42++. Can’t wait to see my next time in a few months. THANKS Crossfit Apex!!
Molly you are a running machine! I can't believe you ran a 5k today, that's awesome! What a killer time...I knew it!!! That's huge! Way to go, it's all your hard work that's got you where you are today. Be proud of yourself girl, good for you! Rest those legs...and watch out for the bats?!?! (I want to hear more about that sometime)
Scrappy, hang in there...we've got a few killer weeks lined up for you guys!!!! wink wink...you won't even remember eating all 200 doughnuts when we're done with you!
And I do believe you were the one who created "apex after dark"...haha
