Well last time we did this was on 11-5. We deemed the workout name 21 since it was 7 rounds of 7 and 7. Took 14+ min that day, and I was happy to just finish at 135. Today was an improvement with a time of 11:33. I felt alot strong through most of the rounds although the cleans really started lacking the last 2 rounds. Still had a sucky time, but heading in the right direction.
I also got a chance to christen the new lifting shoes. I dont know if its mental or if they were just that much more stable, but I do feel like they helped a bit. Who knows....
Did today's wod after a long day of training and I honestly felt like I needed an oxygen tank when I was done! I still got a serious case of lung burn. Used 95lbs but no c2b (sorry to disappoint you scraps, but my chin easily cleared the bar :))--8:30.
Then I watched Josh set a hell of a pr on his deadlift...made it look like a piece of CAKE! Awesome job hun!!! (I'll let him share what weight it was...how bout that for a cliff hanger:)
Worked my way up from 225 and was scared to death of the heavy @#$%. Last time I touched 405 on the King Kong WOD I threw out my back for 3 days. I have not touched anywhere close to my max(445)which I accomplished at the Albany Games back in May.
Tonight I worked up to #435 and pulled it no problem, my next pull was at #450 going for a PR and yes I was scared. That believe it or not went up fairly nice. Tanya kept trying to talk me into higher so I attempted #465 and GOT IT. Thanks for listening to my story. I am quite excited!!!!!

I think the shoes make a difference. I always feel more grounded and it translates into a more stable squat.
Great job everyone. I really liked the technique this morning. It has come along way and you all model great form.
