Wow! What a day yesterday turned out to be!!! For those that couldn’t make it, a great day was had by all. I watched the event come off without a hitch. The WOD’s ran like clockwork – Great job by Tanya, Josh, Mike and Keith. I have to say that KBissel and his outdoor WOD crew get my MVP vote. To give a little perspective, Keith Bussom had arguably the most challenging task of the day - Oversee an outdoor WOD with about 200 competitors, keep it even for everyone, and keep it moving. His day started with “we can’t have this event as originally planned; let’s move the location to under the highway bridge.” This worked like most Saturday WOD’s at APEX so nothing unusual, just sweep the driveway pavement area so the competitors could safely run and spray paint new orange lines in the rain. No small feat, but mission accomplished…all this by 9 am at which point the event proceeded flawlessly - very similar to APEX WOD’s…3, 2, 1 GO! The event concluded with the introduction of the top 20 men and women competitors of the day. Congratulations to Carolyn “CP” Powell for placing 20th and punching her ticket to Ohio for the Regional Competition – nicely done! I’m sure it’s a little bitter sweet for by Tanya, Josh, Mike and Keith to see the day come and go. I did hear one other rumor that the Crossfit Apex community will have an Affiliate Team to root for in Ohio! So, best of luck to Carolyn and Crossfit Apex at the Central East Regional May 7 thru 9, Kaeppner Woods 34070 Sutton Rd Logan, OH 43138. The month of May will be here before you know it!
Thanks Keith! I was actually training for the Mudder!! Seriously though, We couldn't have done it without all of the all of the extra help from PA, MD & Del and the APEX Volunteers! Thanks for braving the elements with me!

I second that nomination for MVP for Buss! Team player, the bomb.com, or most incredible trooper ever does not even begin to describe the Keith and his positive attitude and hard work on Saturday! Thank you!
I think 1 more rest day and then i'll be back at it on Tuesday; i've got a lot of work before may! :0

Congrats to Frank and Scrappy for competing at Sectionals and Congrats to CP for qualifying into the next rd!!! That is absolutely AWESOME. In the Top 20 Ladies!!!!!!
