2/10/13- Open Gym

Big Thanks to all the Judges who volunteered yesterday and Congrats to all the athletes who completed!

What a fun event yesterday. It was a pleasure to lend a helping hand.

Yesterday, did combine wod 1 with Keith at 6:30 and got throught the second set of deadlifts using reduced weights as follows 95 thruster, 225 dead, 155 or 165 (can't remember) clean, jerk, front squat, 145 snatch.

Worked on strict presses and double unders today. I felt sorta grumpy - only got to 65# and lots of rope whips which wasn't what I wanted, but such is goat-work :)

Combine Event 1 - Big Weights
135# thruster and C&J (slowly working up my overhead weight due to my shoulder... Good news, no pain today). 285# DL, 165# FS, did not make it to snatch but had 115# on the bar. Completed 9 OHS @ 115# after.

Did Combine Event 1 - completed 68 reps (once thru and 6 pullups after thrusters)
65# Thuster, 185# DL, 75# Clean & Jerk, 75# Front Squat, 85# Snatch.

No overhead squats at the end. Hard WOD.
