I probably enjoyed this WOD more than I should have. Found a groove and kept moving. Totally psyched I was able to finish.

Feeling very full and sore but considering a new Clovis PR next year.

Thanks to my fellow Roosters for some energy to get me through the lady 15 burpee/pu's.

Buddied up with Amber to tackle this...having a partner made this a lot more bearable!!! The wind was nuts. Josh was right right when he said the last 3 miles would be pretty sucky, I was feeling it in my hips big time. What a crazy combo.!! Loved the camaraderie!

2:13 for the 10 miles. starting doing sets of 30 and was done with burpees after mile 6 bc I had my doubts about finishing . My hips, calves and feet feel brutalized. My previous furthest run was about 5.5 miles. Happy to just finish. Those last 2 miles required some deep digging, glad i did though. Thanks to everyone at apex, a year ago when I started I never would have even considered it.

Really awesome WOD this morning. It's great to see so many people doing things that, at some point in their lives, they would have felt impossible.

WOD: 1:23.05
Broke the work into 20 rounds of 8 Burpee pull ups and 800 meter runs. Finished the Burpee pullups with 6 in round 19 and then ran the last mile unbroken.
Not sure if I would select the 800 meter breakdown again, it was pretty tedious with all those rounds. The cool part, however, is I was always chasing someone down during each run. Because I kept myself close to the building there always seemed to be someone ahead or behind me to keep me moving.
Pretty proud of the accomplishment and all the Apexers who I shared it with. Great Job guys!

1:39:55.

Ran the first 10 miles straight to see what I could do. Set a 10 mile PR by 1:53 at 1:08:50. This is a testament to how awesome CrossFit is. Aside from doing CrossFit, I have not been doing much running at all, and I still set a PR. After then run, I tried to go right into the burpee pull-ups and after doing 3, I came very close to throwing up. Once I calmed down a bit, I found a (slow) rhythm in the burpee pull-ups, but my calves were on fire. Every time I jumped up to the bar, I had to flex my feet just to prevent from cramping up. I took 31:05 to do the burpee pull-ups and finished in 1:39:55.

Loved spending Thanksgiving morning with all of you.

1:51.50 I'll probably do it again. I think I can beat my time by 15 minutes with no wind and 60 degrees. Hoping for Indian summer next thanksgiving
