Open announcements are on Thursdays, not Wednesdays?
This year CFHQ apparently will be releasing the Open WODs on Thursday nights instead of Wednesdays like they have in past years. Bus pointed out on FB that it is an interesting move because it leaves less time for re-dos.
Even though I would have been happy to never see this WOD again I really wanted to workout tonight so hopefully the roads cooperate :) What was the time cap for this?
duh; I didn't make it through the whole post ha. I saw 13.1 and just looked at the WOD in my notebook but had not recorded the cap there...

Not my best, but something.
13.1 redo made a little more difficult. Got 138 reps which is an improvement of 30 reps from the open. Was able to get through the second 30 snatch at 135 and 8 additional burpees.

So much better workout when you can scale it! Although I struggle not to hate snatches I really liked this WOD this go around! And no wrist wraps. No pain no gain right Coach Bus?!

Last year I got 112 reps. Burpees were a little different this year and I think that made a difference. I felt so slow on them.

Spartan 800s at home! Then shovel and plowing the damn driveway! Sometimes I wish I lived closer to the Box!

105reps Rx. I got 4 less than the Open and overall this workout felt more than a little discouraging.. I felt better on the burpees themselves but the lateral jumps were crushing. I could not hold on to sets of the 45# the way I wanted to, and the 75# felt mych heavier than I expected and I missed my 1st attempt :( But luckily I still have two more months and the Open has an unbeatable vibe :)
161 reps 60#80#100#. Still recovering from the stomach virus and wasn't 100%. Couldn't go another day without getting my WOD in. I thought the lateral burpees were more challenging. The clap in mid air took awhile to get used to. Happy I got to the third set of the snatches.
150 reps, got 139 during the open so I was happy. the 100# snatch attempt messed me up mentally.
:-) would have loved to have gotten one!

Didn't have enough time to set up my third snatch bar. I was happy to get 40+ reps more then I did in the open but I had to scale heavily in order to do so...

Only 4 more than in the Open, but I failed my first rep at 75# and it totally threw me off because it's a weight I know I can do. Struggled so much after that.
