Very frustrated today with my hands being so sore and ripped. Had trouble hanging on to just about everything today. First time using the 53#KB and surprised myself by getting 40reps.

Funniest part of the WOD for me: When I first started jumping rope, I was just getting into a groove, and Julia gave me some encouragement, "That's it, Dan! All day!" No sooner were the words out of her mouth than I screwed up at rep 17. Thankfully, that was on my first attempt!

Feels awesome to be back at APEX!! Had the opportunity to visit a lot of boxes on our trip and I have to say how proud I am of the standards and integrity that are upheld at Apex. I have learned over the years that holding yourself accountable in workouts transfers over into your daily life and helps make you a better person. I feel very lucky to have been taught that from the very start from Josh, Bus and Tanya. Thank you guys for never letting me slack!

I actually tested out the 70# Kettle Bell. This is the first time I even thought about that KB. I probably could have done a few reps with it. But I am nursing a little bit of lower back, glute, and hamstring issue. They are starting to feel a little bit better so I didn't want to totally kill them again. So I dropped back down to 53#.
