28:25 100#. On the first round, we ran 3 laps which probably was little more than 200m but then we brought it down to 2 laps on the last 2 rounds. Wall climbs were tough towards the end but you just have to gut them out. Never met Mr. Saks but gave it all I had since this WOD was dedicated for him. Also did this for my father who I lost to cancer as well. My father passed away 2 days before Mr. Saks.

Sharon, I am sorry for your loss. As with Jon, I never met your husband, but I did the workout in his memory. And Jon, I am sorry for your loss as well.

DNF
50# OHS
Scaled mid-WOD: burpees instead of wall climbs (thanks to my inability to do them correctly, I hurt my shoulder, again. Yay me!)
And don't ask me what I was doing on the bar, I must have looked like a monkey who forgot how to climb.

What difference a year makes. Last year I did 65# and miraculously finished this WOD. This year I only got to the last set of broad jumps.

The only thing good about tonight happened during one of my runs...I found a nice pace and felt really good (first time ever) running. I could have kept going. Shh...don't tell anyone I said that!

#65 OHS/ knee ups (?) instead of TTB

I think I have narrowed down one of my many goals for this year.... TTB :-)

Sharon, you and your family have been in my prayers today!

Prayers for the Saks family today. What a great wod to push through and remember.

First off, when I saw this WOD come up I didn't realize who it was in tribute of. Then I found out it was Sharon's husband. I can't imagine and I was so honored to do this workout in memory of him. Apex is an incredible place that does so many things for its members. Prayers to you Sharon and I hope you find strength from all of the members who did this WOD in memory of him.

I was very upset that I DNF'd on this WOD. But when I broke it down I was happy about certain things. First time doing real TTB in a WOD and first time doing Wall climbs in a WOD. Those Wall Climbs got pretty brutal. I got through the second run (the one after the Wall Climbs in the 3rd round).

Also, thanks to Josh I feel like I now have a path to solving my issues with OHS. They have been one of the most uncomfortable barbell moves for me. Now if I keep working the suggestions from Josh I know I can get past it. Thank you Josh!
