11:51 115#. The dubs were obviously the liming factor for me but felt really good on the front squats.

10:55 - 80# did 8 double unders each time. At the end it was hard to string the DU together!

Told Julia 75#-whoops! Can't add numbers before a cup of coffee!

WU: HSPUs every 30 seconds for 8:00. I tried at first hitting 2 HSPUs per 30 seconds, but on several rounds, I only did 1. Definitely feeling a lot more comfortable with HSPUs.

WOD: 10:59 - 95#. DUs were very frustrating, but I got them all.

With an 18:00 time cap, I feel like I could have went heavier and still met the time cap. 95# is not light for me though. I made it through the first 21 front squats unbroken. After that, I broke once on the round of 15 FS and once on the round of 9 FS. So, it wasn't light.

The Dubs are progressing... Did them all and stuck with a single-single-double rhythm

9:09 45#; singles with a few DUs here and there. Probably could have added more #'s.

12:08 70# and DUs
My DUs are thankfully getting better slowly, my pushups are abysmal.

10:29 30# totally went too light :( My knees were bothering me and the 21 in the beginning got to my head. On the plus side I got a lot of double unders in. Great workout, just should have gone heavier.

Day 3/30--Complete. Mostly sets of 3's and 2's.

Tough day of squatting! Felt pretty crummy.

I give a ton of respect to anyone who did all their Front Squats in the Apex WOD and still knocked out their 30-Day Challenge minutes. Well played Apexers, well-played.

I had a notable conversation with Dr. Eric over at Pennridge Wellness Center today. Dr. Eric said he had heard about our squat challenge and was inquiring about the general rules and objectives.
I explained what we were doing, demonstrated some squatting and cited our boys Kelly Starrett and Ido Portal.
Eric was intrigued. After I answered a few questions he seemed genuinely interested in being a part of our ongoing experiment. Not to actually squat, of course, but to analyze what we are doing (or should be doing) with respect to our spine. Dr. Eric was on board with ideas about returning our bodies to a natural resting position and actually told me he couldn't wait to go google pictures of early humans in natural resting positions.
I am back at PWC tomorrow and will get back to everyone as we continue this conversation.

I'd also love to reference our Coach Clayton as we battle through this Challenge. As Coach mentioned, its going to be important to maintain your body with mobility exercises, foam rolling, lax mashing, etc.
Excellent point! Please make sure to take care of yourself as we continue through the 30 days. If you have persistent pain or issues let's talk about it and investigate the fix.

I know we are all facing discomfort at the moment, I can remember it getting better in the first 4-5 days during my previous attempt. Hope that trend holds for everyone this time around.

Nice work Apex. Keep on it!
