***CROSSFIT APEX SWIMMING WOD UPDATE***
CrossFit Apex members and others,
We WILL be starting weekly Swimming WODs at the Souderton Community Pool this Sunday, June 8 from 11am-noon.
The weather looks great for this weekend and we have a solid group of 11 registrants ready to hit the pool.
Remember, Apex members can purchase 5- or 10-punch cards specifically for swimming WODs for a price of $60 and $100, respectively. Non-members may purchase the same packages for a price of $90-$150.
Drop ins may also be purchased for $15 (Apex members) and $25 (non-members). Payment for drop ins will be due on the Wednesday before swimming.
Everyone who has pre-registered please drop your payments in the box at Apex by this weekend, please.

If you are interested and have not yet signed up, please do so immediately at the link below. It is important that all swim WOD participants register on the Apex site so that specific instructions for these workouts can be disseminated via the email submitted.

Worked on split snatch in warm up, worked up to 185# felt awkward at first but started feeling pretty good after a few attempts.
Julia - I really don't think you know how much you inspired and taught me in such a brief time. I am very grateful and will take you up on your offer if I ever need a team mate for a competition.
With Julia's coaching today, I honestly felt the best I ever did with the power snatch. Went light on purpose to focus on form. Hopefully can bump up to Rx next time!

Stuck with the Hang Snatch in the Warmup. Made it to 110#

10 rounds + 9 Rx.
Hit 145 split snatch in warm up.
12+13 80# 20#mb. Rough after the 10's. UB on all WB's and didn't break the snatch until the 9's. Good luck Julia! You're an awesome coach!
