4-17-08 "Valley"

Reps of 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 for time:

Knees to elbows
Thrusters 95/75
Burpees
Turkish get up 35/25
Ring row

*Must complete all exercises before moving onto the next lower set of reps

floor wipers/ 95lbs

I enjoyed it, although can't remember my time!
Still want to do The Valley next week!
Taking step class on our rest day tomorrow and can't wait till Saturday morning! Have a good night everyone!

Valley took a toll on me today...I was ready for bed as soon as I finished my last single burpee. Thanks for pushing me Josh (getting lapped a few times is always good motivation to dig deeper!)My body is BEAT. Hips and knees feel like I'm 80 yrs old...good old Turkish Getups, they do it to me every time!

Tough one today. Sweat fest outside in the blistering heat!! I can't wait for summer.
I am ready for bed after putting together 7 more plyo boxes and completing the valley.

I can wait for the rest day.

tanya - this ones for you - I am real. Yeah, I am not liking those turkish getups so much either. I don't know about you guys, but I am taking a rest day!! Seriously, thanks guys - this is A GREAT thing you all are doing. And Angie you are an awesome motivator, without you - I would be lying on the floor.

WOD-Valley seems like it would never end, the new way of doing turkish get-up I had to drop to 20lb. just for getting them right. Josh see all of you SAT.,Kieth T. no show. Will have 1"union w/me.

This was a looong one! But there's nothing like lying in the backyard at 9:30/10:00 pm underneath the stars....doing Turkish getups!! That's when I ask myself-- "am I crazy?"
Turkish get-ups are hard--and I was only using a 10 dumbbell. Exciting news though, I was doing "real" "guy" push-ups with the Burpee (that's right, all 55 of them!). Nose wasn't to the ground, but it was at least half way there! And 2 1/2 weeks ago when I started Crossfit, I couldn't even hold a push-up position, let alone do one!! Exciting stuff! Rest day- here I come! See you all Saturday.

I have to say I love seeing when everyone posts...Angie I swear soon it'll be 3AM when you and Missy will be in the barn starting the wod. I love it!
