Juniors are welcome to participate however they must choose Rx or a scaled division.
Each athlete will compete in 4 wods with finallists participating in a 5th wod. Everyone at Apex is highly encouraged to participate. No one is too new or too old to join in the fun. All workouts will be appropriate for all. This event will be a FUN atmosphere while also being competitive against those you train with regularly.
Suggestions for RX or Scaled?
(These are not the exact movements but if you typically scale in your daily workouts go scaled in the competition)
Can you do a pull up?
How is your wall ball at prescribed height and wt?
Can you use a standard 95/65 barbell on most barbell movements? (95 Men/ 65 Women)
Please plan on packing a cooler and spend the day at Apex. Feel free to invite family and friends to come and watch.

- Worked from 35-125 (prior max was 65#)
Was super psyched about how that WOD went down for me. Was able to add weight each round!

14 rounds + 3. I worked up to 135 by 10# then the rest of the rounds by 5#. Hit 3 reps @ 170# which is a thruster PR for me.

Really struggled with my shoulder on this one
Tweaked my knee at the Tough Mudder on Saturday; wasn't expecting it to cause problems today but it did, so I had to modify. Push jerks instead of thrusters, row instead of run.

Should've tried for more weight but was hesitant
Did my workout at home. 15 rnds, started with 15# bar, added 5# per round till I hit 35#, then did 5 rnds followed by 40# for 5 rnds, ending with one rnd at 45#!
