Reminder: No Open Gym. It is now replaced by a swimming Wod on Sunday's at the Souderton Pool from 12-1pm. Must sign up at Apex prior. Classes capped at 15.

21:29. Scaled the pull ups to 25. Thrusters 65#. Instead of working the WOD, the WOD worked me today. I just didn't have it today. Hands were so torn up from the pull ups. Still feels good to start my holiday weekend with such a challenging WOD.

My time was 1:38 slower than last week. Not sure why? I think part of it was the heat this morning, but my thruster didn't feel as smooth as they did last week. Did the same as I did last week as far as scaling except didn't use the ball under my thrusters. So I think without the ball as my crutch I was more thoughtful about them. So they didn't roll as well as last week. But Tanya said I was getting my depth so that was good. So hopefully I can get rid of the ball on squats and thrusters. Drink lots of water! Definitely sweated out arses off this morning!

I did not beat my time, however I was able to use a bar and get better range of motion squatting. Last week I used 15# dumbbells for the thrusters.

Between yesterday and today, put a fork in me. I am overdone.

Back is finally starting to feel normal again after tweaking it last Thursday.

Love the workouts like this; where you have to focus away from the pain, to keep on working through until the end.

Won't make it today. My boxjump saga continues. My ribs are more painful than ever and sneezing puts me to my knees. I'm sitting in the x-ray waiting room right now and should have results by tomorrow. Hoping yesterday's wod didn't put them over the edge.

Forgot to mention my ribs are visibly sticking out in a way they never did before. On the left side only...looks kinda cool.... Not!!!

Sounds scary E Rock, hope it's not too bad and heals quickly.

Hit snatches today at Crossfit Hilton Head for the first time in months since my back injury. Had to go light and do them flamingo style but holy crap it felt good to move a bar pain free.

Did the first 50 pull ups in 51 seconds then when the 800m run came along my lungs were completely shot. Walked for the first time ever in a wod on this one, gotta love this wod!

18:04. Scaled thrusters to 45#. The second set of pull-ups were pretty sad. Tony kicked my ass on that last set of pull-ups (and the first set too for that matter).
