Last think I wanted to see today other than a run might have been a CFT. I felt that not having lifted anything heavier than a beer for the past week +, would have affected my strength numbers in a negative way.
It wasnt as bad as I thought since I PR'ed my CFT by 85 lbs. I still feel that it could have been better had I been in full swing. Oh well...just have to wait till next time.
It was really exciting to see everyone in the 5:30 crew PR with some great lifts. Awesome determination and show of strength, both mentally and phsically.
What was everyone's new CFT's today? I am anxious to see everyones numbers. Just ran went for a run through the streets and on the boardwalk. Started the watch and took off. Just got back and mapped my run and it was 3.18mi. Glad that it was enough to finish a 5k. With the amount of junk food and beer I have been drinking I am happy with my 24:12 time. Scrappy nice work on the PR's.
M/26/175-haven't stepped on the scale lately, I could be 185 right now!

CFT 175/90/240 505 I have to learn muscle ups so I don't have to do 3 to 1 pull ups and dips. 95#thrusters felt kinda heavy too. 28:00
Great totals today. Thanks for posting. Kim thanks for the advice with the straw that has worked significantly. Out for dinner. Can't wait to hear about the blasters hun. How did Elaine do? Good time.
my total was squat 265 (+20) press 160 (+15) deadlift 365 (+50)
so a 790 total from 705.
Next time ill be in the 800's....promise...unless you plan another total after my next vacation! didnt you know your supposed to plan your wods around ME!

Nice work! I like to see those numbers go up...great new deadlift and squat prs, up by 20-50 lbs that's huge. Good work!
Scrappy sounds to me like you need to go on vacation more often with those increases...seriously 15lbs on the sp?!?!

Oh and 50 bodyblasters for Elaine...12:27, she did great, a little jumping pull up action on the rings followed by a much more controlled kte with less swing and more knee lift than usual. All "boy" push ups too for the entire 50! Nice Job E!
