I don’t know what it was about the WOD this morning, but that 10 of Spades is rough! I felt good about the movements individually prior to starting, but paired like it was, it was hard to stay in it...mentally and physically. managed to stumble through 7 rounds, 15 ohs and 3 kte. Thanks for the motivation Buss and Mike.
I hope tomm wod doesn’t have any shoulder work...cause my shoulders are shot! =0)
This one sound rough, great job to all who gave it a shot!
So I have to just say back when we did the badger I hope you all know how proud of you I was and I hope I was encouraging throughout the entire wod. I also have to say sorry, I wish I would have know what hell we were putting you through before doing so...OH MY GOSH! Pictures of you all were going through my head as I took on the badge early this evening and I actually was feeling bad for the pain you went through. I literally had visions of Melissa and Sylvia in the q-town wrestling room sweating there rear ends off and then the whole crew over at Franconia...there's Kim and Molly, go Angie, you got it Missy, what a day to come out Alex, keep it up Scrappy! I think you all are what got me through this one today. Thanks a million!
Have to say Josh's suggestion of using 75# sounded better before the wod...
Rx with 75# squat cleans- 32:00 f/26/149
Sad to report, Badger got the best of Josh...after a killer 8 minute first round, nausea and that good old cough set in and he was paralyzed after completing round 2. Better luck next time. You know it's bad when he doesn't even post and has been in bed since 7:45. Better luck next time hun!
Missy and I took on 10 of Spades on our own. 55# OH squats, KTE with the rings, and Handstand PU angled off the box. We made it through...with our Pampered Chef timer marking our 20 min (Scrappy, do you have the PC timer? :-))
