I like this modified version better. I dont thin doing all thos deads and overhead squats in the midst of farmer carries etc etc would be fun this friday afternoon =0)
started off with 100 double unders for time 4:21 gave myself a 10 minute break afterwords and then figured i'd try out my 5k course i mapped out a few weeks ago ran the 5k in 22:03, first 5k ive ran in 2 years!
hopefully i'm not too sore for some suffocation tomorrow!
I DID SOME WHAT CROSSFIT TODAY LETS SEE I MOWED 3 ACRES WITH 48 INCH WALK BEHIND, ALSO TRIMED IT ALL, THEN I HAD TO FILL UP TURPS WITH ALL GRASS CLIPPINGS AND PULL THEM TO WOODS SEEMED LIKE CROSS FIT. WAS PRETTY GOOD WORKOUT I MUST SAY.
The sun today was hot my friends...running with dumbbells is just wrong, wrong for your lats, wrong for your grip. The second carry was by far the hardest part of the wod.
Good new trick I learned from Minnuch...pack your hand tears with chalk (pack in as much as you can) and you don't re-rip the tear on pullups! I couldn't believe it...a 2-day old tear and I did 22 c2b pullups no less and not even a crack!!

Did this in the AM. Grip strength is the factor here. Fun. Keep that run on.

Tough one this afternoon. Took on this WOD with Tanya, Minnucci, Bussom and Scrappy.
Finished in 12:32. Grip was definitely a factor with those dam farmer carries. Lungs were feeling it from the runs and DU. See ya'll tomorrow.
