8-27-09 MAX LIFT


Optional Strength Day

Your choice of working towards your Max Deadlift or Max Clean and Jerk.


Time for some to challenge a new PR on an Oly. lift, for others it will be time to set the bar for your first ever Max Lift.

did CrossFit Ithaca's workout:

1000m row

5 rounds:

15 wall balls
15 situps

1000m row.

10:56 (using 14# med ball, biggest they had)

Missing everyone. I got the chance to work out at the Training room which does crossfit, Avon by the Sea NJ but uses kettlebells for many of their weighted exercise. It was a good workout, but not friendly at all.
warm up 2 rounds 20 seconds on
overhead squats, with PVC
pushups
bicyle sit-ups
jumping jacks
single KBS
thruster with medicine ball
ring rows

3 couplets 15 seconds on 15 seconds rest between each for 8 rounds
pushups/ring rows
double arm kettlebell swings/double arm kettlebell squats
v-sit ups/medicine ball situps.
I was able to maintain my reps all the way through.

Can't wait to get back
