1-12-09 "30sec Flip"




2 rounds

30s of work, 10s of rest 4x ea exercise

Tire flip (jump in, jump out, flip)
Single arm OH KB lunge 35/26
GI Janes (Chest to floor, chin over bar)
KB Swing (53/35)

*1 minute rest between rd 1 and rd 2
(record total reps for each exercise)

















1 day in and Josh already needs a cheat. After eating dinner at 4:00pm he was so hungry by 9:30pm that the sugar was just callin his name. mmmmmmmm!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one! When deciding what I could come up with sugar-free for breakfast, my choices were 2 hard boiled eggs and an apple....or whole wheat toast and peanut butter with honey and flax. I opted for the toast. Time is precious in the morning so I need something portable. Any suggestions?

The eggs and apple is quick and easy! Pre-boil those suckers!

I second Frank's choice. I eat it every morning. Shave off a few more seconds of time by peeling your egg and smearing on the pb the night before. Turns that bfast into a grab-n-go. Also mix it up...almond butter is phenomenal! If you don't want to eat much, half that Teresa and go 1 egg and 1/2 apple. Then have the 1 and 1/2 apple a few hours later. It depends what fills you up, but I find a whole apple to be a little much sugar and may leave you hungerier in a short period of time. Just my experience with it.

Made up the Run/DU/DB BurpeeThruster WOD from yesterday. Minnuci-- thanks for the top female time to shoot for! Working out solo, I need the push. I was gunning for ya!

I only have hex-end dbs in 10# so I used (2)10#s instead of 15#s. (I was assuming the weights listed meant #s for each db, not total weight?)

Happy to be getting my DUs back from last winter. They got a little rusty lately, but strung 22 together in the 3rd round, so I'm happy about that.

Gold status question: I'm assuming corn and breaded chicken is out, correct?

That would be correct Michael. In Tanya's opinion all potatoes except sweet potatoes(because she eats them!!) and fried chicken are out (processed food). Lima beans and corn OUT!
