Trust me I do not want to miss out on an awesome party! I definitely wanted to have people baffled with my baby picture but the hotel was already booked months ago and non refundable. I will be looking forward to the next one and hopefully by then the Asian population at Apex will be more than ONE!
Warm-up: Got 15 Burpee muscle ups in the 7 minute time period.
WOD: 5:45 at 115# and C2B
Favorite moment from this morning: About 30 seconds into the WOD everyone was still hanging onto their bars for the 21 push presses. Shanna reminds everyone to be smart about holding the bar and to not do too many unbroken reps during the round of 21. The next thing you know everyone in the class drops their bar in unison! Pretty funny!

Regular Pull Ups
Felt good to finally get in this week...sidelined with a migraine that just wouldn't quit since Monday. Nothing a lil vino won't cure tomorrow!

wish I could have gone heavier, but glad I didn't have to scale the pull up reps. Josh wanted us to shoot for 6 min, felt good pulling it off.

Weight was pretty heavy but I feel like it was a solid performance on my behalf.
Warmup:
Burpee muscle ups - making progress on the muscle ups. The pull up challenge is helping with this. Dropped the box from 24" to 20" with a plate on the same bar I have been using. Even did a few without the plate. Felt good about that.
WOD:
5:41 - 85# and 15/10/5 on regular pull ups. Kipping pull ups are getting much better. Really felt good doing to the gazillion we did in the warm up. And most of the ones in the WOD felt good. This is the first time I did this kind of volume in a WOD. Given the time I got finished I may have been able to get done in the 8:30 time cap Josh set if I stuck with the 21/15/9.
