Swim WOD #5
Did some "legs crossed" swimming in the warm-up before utilizing kick boards to work on flutter kicking. I liked the intensity during an 8-Round Tabata of fast kicking.
Went through some more advanced progressions of freestyle technique drills before moving to the diving well for bobs, treading and today's WOD.
"Bobber"
*swimmers complete an 8-minute AMLAP of diving well widths (approximately 10- or 15-meters).
*at each end swimmers must complete one deep-water bob before starting the next lap.
*water depth was 12 feet, however some swimmers scaled down to shallower bobs of 8,7,6 feet.
*swimmers in the 10-meter section of pool alternate between laps on top of the water and laps underneath the water.
