9:30 - 90# and 35#kb

Thanks for repeating this WOD - it's especially appropriate since it's Marathon Monday in Boston and this is in honor of Mike Kennedy who was a Boston firefighter.
Mike was a good friend of my cousin who died fighting a fire. They were both coaches at a box in Boston. He was 33 years old and he was with Ladder 15 - hence the reps. So 33 may seem like a lot of back squats, deadlifts or KB swings, but it is nowhere near enough years of life, something to keep in mind while chipping away. From what my cousin has shared about him, this WOD is the perfect tribute. Thanks everyone!

Awesome WOD this morning... This WOD is an incredible tribute to a hero.

This was also one of the first WOD's I did since joining last April... which crushed me to say the least... Loved getting another crack at it to see how I have improved. Thank you Crossfit Apex and all of the coaches!

Last Year: 17:03 155#/44# KB
This morning: 11:49 165#/53#

5:14 improvement and added 10# to each movement. I'd say it's working. :)

This was my first WOD that I recorded.
Last year: 11:44 58# from the rack/26kb

This year: 11:21 75#/35kb

I am so happy to see the improvement

I was only 7sec 'faster' this year ha, but I think I did much better mentally this year esp since we couldn't rack the squats.

2 secs slower and 5# less than last year but we were allowed to use a rack last year. This year I had to clean it. I felt like I could have gone heavier on the squat and deadlift if we would have been allowed to start at the racks. Good WOD! It's fun to read everyone's progress. Great work!
