Warm up 120# WOD: totally lost track of time. Did 60 pull-ups and went back to do more after the air squats. Managed to do 10 more pull-ups. My arms and shoulders were done! I think my time was around 22:00 something in that range. Liked this WOD a lot!
On Monday night I came out to my car and noticed the front driver side panel by the head light was pushed in. Looks like someone swiped the car by accident. Monday night was the first time I noticed it, so it may have not even happened then, but if you think you may have swiped my car you can talk to Josh/Tanya/Keith about it. They can talk to me without me ever knowing who it was to figure out how to go about repairing the damage. It looks like an easy fix and will probably cost less then $100.
Got up to 140# on the Split Jerk/ Front Squat warm up. Quickly approaching body weight!
WOD-23:08 Did 60 pullups before moving on, then went back and finished the last 40 at the end.
Looking forward to doing some live streaming of the Games today. Especially Heat 3 of the Women's WOD #1 where Camille LB will be competing in the pool:)
WU 110# for the Split Jerk/Front Sqaut
WOD
20:42 100 JPU/50 PU/100 Situps/100 Air squats
This was a fun WOD to keep pushing yourself. Pushups are definitely a weakness and I need to keep working them. They were better today than they have been.
I also want to let everyone know about a 5K race that I do a lot of fundraising for. It is called The Bruiser 5K. It is a race that raises money for Canine Cancer research. Some of you know that I am involved in dog sports. I currently have 4 Golden Retrievers. I have lost two Goldens to Canine Cancer and currently have one that is fighting it. So this is a really important cause for me. If you would like to register for the race, the website is www.thebruiser5k.org. It would be really cool to see some Apexers run this race with us. It is a very low key race and is run in beautiful Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, PA on September 7th. If you would like to donate, you can go to the same page and click on Teams at the top of the page and then click on Team It's for the Dogs! That is our team page. I will also post a race page about the race at the Box. Thank you!
Warm up: 120#
WOD: 21:47 JPU
Push ups were tough. Arms started to fail at 50
WU 75# hang clean/front squat. PR on the hang clean
WOD 22:16
Ring rows
Knee push ups
Fun one!
23:03 75 PU's
a ripper so file if you remember :)
WU 190#
WOD 23:41 RX
Ripped both of my palms so needless to say I won't be practicing muscle ups for a few days!
22:58
JPU
On vacation in Cape Cod & I did a drop in @ CrossFit Hyannis. Nice facility, owner is very nice, good group. I was 1 of 4 visitors in the class. I definitely feel like I've been eating AND DRINKING whatever I want for the past week!
Hit 130 for the warmup and got 135 for the jerk. Went rx in the WOD and got around 19 something, I accidentally looked at the wrong clock. My push-ups were more on the worming side, my shoulders are fried from yesterday!
21:14 with jpu. this was rough for me; I've been increasingly building up my Triathlon work and my shoulders and quads were sad puppies from jump today
25-cap
43 pull ups 40 in the first 7 min, got back and got 3 additional prior to the cap
Wu-275#
120# warmup
22:44 rx.
I think this is the first time that I can say i rxed the workout. probably could have been no repped on a few of the pullups, but hey, who's counting? Just glad to not rip the palms again....
90# warm-up
40 Pull-ups (ripped both hands)
100 Push-ups
100 sit-ups
89 air squats
I ran out of time! :-(. My pull-ups were hard & took me forever just to get 40. I stopped them with 8 min on the clock.
Warm up 65#
WOD 22:17 ring rows, knee pushups, 75 situps
22:45 50/100/100/100
So the last time I did this workout was about three years ago. It took me 25 minutes to just do the pull-ups and almost 51 minutes to complete the whole workout. I ripped my hands terribly, from the base of my finder to the middle of my palms. (stupid pride that I wanted to finish the workout that I was so far into)
Tonight, yes, I only did 50 pull-ups, but I was only beginning to rip in one place and was only to 6.5 minutes (in tabata time)into the workout, so I would chalk it up (yes pun intended) to a vast improvement.

oh, yeah the warmup
225# Split jerk/FS complex.
24:36 Rx
Cutting it close!! Took me 7:30 to do 100 pull ups but i didn't rip:)
WU hit 105# on the Split Jerk/FS complex.
WOD- 100's in 24:04 - TTPost instead of sit ups and Jumping Pull up. This was hard but the tabata style make it work.
20:49 Rx
Last year's time was 22:45! Loved doing it tabata style...built in breaks, so I didn't have to think about when or how long to take them. :-)
Warm up - got to 105# felt good... Ran out of time to go heavier.
