Considering the beautiful weather, I'm shocked that we only had 6 swimmers make it to Swim WOD this morning at the Souderton Pool.
Luckily for those that came, I took the time to grab some swim fins for the group to use during freestyle drills.
Fins are probably my favorite piece of swim equipment and I think today's group enjoyed wearing them for a while.
After fins, today's swimmers completed a version of 2014's WOD "Three-lay" with an upgraded WOD I call
"OH Three-Lay."
This three-person team event, featured 25 yard sprints sandwiched in between a gutter push-out hold on one end of the pool, and an overhead plate hold on the other.
Team moved in relay fashion switching spots for the 12 minute time domain. Scores reflect the total laps completed by the team.
Ricky Y., Matt L. and Chris W. ended up with 28 complated laps while the team of Julia B., Devan Y. and Mel S. ended up with 24 laps.
Nice Job crew!
